Welcome to Rider Training.
The 1st training scheme in the United Kingdom to provide training for
both motorcycles and quad bikes.
When searching for the right training at the right price it can be a very
difficult decision, all training bodies have the basic training
qualifications to teach, however there is a vast difference.
You will be offered courses by trainers based in motorcycle dealers, the
idea is simple, you walk into a dealer ask a question and sometime later end
up with expensive gear and some idea of training.
A cheap course often means cheap training and a large bill after
eventually passing your test at the third or fourth attempt (false economy).
And as you walk into that shop to ask the question you can bet the dealer
will be smiling all the way to the bank, not only will you need all the gear
when you’ve booked your training course with their instructors you will have
lots of free advice about buying their bikes, after all that’s why they work
together.
So why are we different from them ?
Well our trainers are already in full time employment with the emergency
services, we train when we are off duty because we want to make a difference
to the riders of today, by education and working to improve current
standards.
We are the first training body in the United Kingdom to offer both
motorcycle and Quad Bike training courses.
Our instructors issued the first DLI96 certificate in the country and
have continued to provide the highest standard of instruction since the
introduction of CBT (Compulsory Basic Training).
Our courses are designed to allow you to achieve an excellent standard of
riding and therefore pass your Bike / Quad test on the first attempt.
There is sufficient time allowed for riders to develop their skills under
professional instruction not only to pass the test but also to develop the
basic knowledge and attitude to continue to improve your riding after
passing.
We enjoy a good relationship with dealers that provide a good standard of
service, yet we have learned through experience that it is vital to remain
independent, so we can give unbiased opinions to our trainees of the
standards of service provided.
